A Weird Date

I had a quite weird date on last Saturday. Funny it is. A girl asked me to go to watch Charlie and The Chocolate Factory at Ciwalk’s theater. We promised to meet at 2.30 pm at petshop in the Ciwalk.

Because I came first (and she was late about... 40 minutes), I spent time looking at the pets. There was a parqeet, hamster, cats, dogs, turtles, and... SNAKES!
Goddam, I hate snakes!
So I ran off and waited for her in a music shop.

oKay, half an hour later she came. Half an hour!
Goddam, I hate waiting!
But she looked beautiful, dressed up in a feminim way. Ive never seen her like that before. I must admit, she amazed me in some kind of way that day.
Then she begged mercy from me for showing up too late.
Well, youre late but its okay, I said, as long as the ticket box still open and the film hasnt started yet. At that time, the film will be played ten minutes later and the ticket box still opened.
So we went to the theater to watch the film.

And guess what?
Theres no more Charlie and The Chocolate Factory played on the theater. So we watch Innocent Voices (later I noticed that this film had won 2005 Academy Award on Best Foreign Film). The film was a bit touchy, she cried besides me when the film's over. Im almost cried as well. Damn, that was quite good drama. The director forces you to taste the pain that Chava must hold for an eleven year old boy. We discussed about the film then, until I felt a bit hungry.

We went to Platinum to find something to eat.
About an hour later, she needed to pray, so we went out to nearby musholla.

About ten minutes later, she asked me,
Have we paid for our food?
...no, I havent, I said.
...neither do I, she said.
Goddam, I forgot!

Actually WE forgot.
But I was too ashamed to go back there paying for the food.
Haha, it was very funny in a way. We laughed on each other for a minutes back then.

After that we took a look at a gallery. There's a small gallery at the entrance of Ciwalk. She is majoring in Arts, so she starts a new hobby: eyebrowsing at the gallery. She also forced me to go there. Maybe there’s an inspiration to catch, she said.
And hour later, we decided to go to her home first to grab a jacket. It was quite a bit cold that night and she didnt bring any jacket on. I wanted to lend mine, but she was quite stubborn with nah-that’s-okay-I’ll-be-fine thing.

Late at night, we chat at Olala Cafe. It was my idea to go there. Quite cozy, and it opens 24/7. From the chitchatting, seems like we have the same tastes: Naruto and One Piece comics, Elephant and Tim Burton films, Final Fantasy 7 & 9 (FF8 sucks...). Both of us could get along well. Maybe I should think to ask her to be my girl, haha (yeah, right..).

Sleepy, we were. Then I took a look at the watch, its 2.30 am! No wonder.. So I called a taxi and drove her home before I went home too.

Wow, I didnt know what to think. For a first date, I feel a bit awkward. I mean, I didnt think that we could getting along so well. When it came up that way, I dont really know what to do. Should I ask her next time? Sometime maybe, haha..
